• Ο Καμμένος λοιπόν μάλλον, όπως όλα δείχνουν,… στοιχημάτισε σε… “κουτσό”, για να μην γράψω σε… “λάθος” άλογο! (Ματτίς)!.. Άρα και ο Τσίπρας, ο μέγας… τζογαδόρος, έφαγε… “στοιχηματική… φόλα”, αφού αυτός τον έστειλε, άσχετα με το αν τώρα “κάνει τον… Αλέκο“!

 

 

Trump Expresses Possibility Defense Chief Mattis ‘Could Be’ Leaving

U.S. President Donald Trump says he does not know whether Defense Secretary James Mattis is planning to step down, but he told a TV interview that he sees the four-star general as “sort of a Democrat” who just might leave.

“It could be that he is [leaving],” Trump told CBS television’s prerecorded 60 Minutes program that was to air later on October 14.

“I think he’s sort of a Democrat, if you want to know the truth. But General Mattis is a good guy. We get along very well. He may leave. I mean, at some point, everybody leaves,” he added, according to transcripts released by the TV network.

Trump, a Republican, also alluded to potential changes more generally in his cabinet.

“I’m changing things around. And I’m entitled to. I have people now on standby that will be phenomenal,” he said.

“They’ll come into the administration, they’ll be phenomenal.”

“I think we have a great cabinet. There’re some people that I’m not happy with. I have some people that I’m not thrilled with. And I have other people that I’m beyond thrilled with,” he added.

Mattis is considered one of the most independent members of Trump’s cabinet, but also one of the steadiest hands amid an administration marked by a high turnover rate among top officials.

On October 9, Trump announced that Nikki Haley would be leaving her post as UN Ambassador at the end of the year. No reason for the resignation was immediately given.

Many saw the timing of her departure as suprisiing, coming just a few weeks before midterm elections.

Among the other high-level departures were Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, was fired in March, and national security adviser H.R. McMaster, who resigned the same month.

Mattis has been regarded by many as a counterweight to the president. He has pressed to improve relations with traditional U.S. allies, including fellow NATO members, amid often-harsh language by Trump.

In early October, Mattis reassured NATO allies of the “iron-clad” U.S. commitment to the 69-year-old Western military alliance.

Some Western leaders have also praised Mattis for pushing for a tougher policy toward Russian President Vladimir Putin in the face of Trump’s stated desire to improve relations with Moscow.

Speculation has risen about Mattis’s future as defense chief since a book by journalist Bob Woodward about Trump’s White House said the general had questioned Trump’s judgment, likening his understanding to that of a 10- or 11-year-old child.

Mattis denied making the remarks and has consistently denied he was considering quitting.

“Of course, I don’t think about leaving,“ he told reporters in September. “I love it here.“

• Και ό,τι θα μαθαίνεις απ’ την Κα Πρόξενο “σήμερα” και ό,τι άλλο καλύτερο και ανώτερο γι’ αυτήν, ως θέση, ως εξέλιξη εννοώ, “αύριο”, να μην τα λες στην… ΜΙΤ!.. Έλα ένα αστείο κάναμε, χαλάρωσε!..
• [Πάντως και “έξω από την πλάκα”, λάβε υπόψη σου σοβαρά(!) τα όσα είχαν “κυκλοφορήσει” για σένα (και στην Πόλη), μετά από την σχεδόν… “απαγωγή” σου, φέτος, από τους Τ/ Χάκερς, της ΜΙΤ/ Κλιμάκιο Πόλης, απ’ τους οποίους είχες πάρει και… συνέντευξη!.. (“Δικαιώματα -πάντως- έχεις δώσει“ και με κάποιες τοποθετήσεις σου στον “ΣΚΑΪ“, …)]!..
• Η Πρόξενος και πλέον σύζυγός σου, Κα Βασιλάκη είναι κόρη του γνωστού… ευτραφούς, τέως Διαπραγματευτή μας στο “Σκοπιανό”, Κου Βασιλάκη;
• Η μέθοδος των “Γάμων” ή και των “Γάμων“ είναι μια από τις πιο γνωστές μεθόδους (“πεπατημένη” θα την χαρακτήριζα, ως μέθοδο) “φυτέματος” πρακτόρων!..
• Εμείς πάντως σε θεωρούμε βαθειά ελληνόψυχο, ως καταγόμενο μάλιστα από την σκλάβα ακόμα Πρωτεύουσά μας, την πόλη, των πόλεων, την Πόλη και “έξω απ’ την πλάκα”, απλώς φίλε Κε Κωστίδη, λάβε υπόψη σου την παραπάνω παράγραφο, για την περίπτωση και μόνον που υπάρχει στην παρούσα συγκυρία “μορατόριουμ”, μεταξύ ΜΙΤ και ΕΥΠ, και σε έχουν εμπλέξει -πληροφοριακά- … σ’ αυτό!
• Σε ό,τι αφορά την Κα Βασιλάκη, θεωρούμαι βέβαιον ότι θα ξεχωρίζει την προσωπική της, απ’ την υπηρεσιακή – επαγγελματική της ζωή!.. 
• 2. Πάνω που σε συγχαρήκαμε ρε Χίε, πάλι “τα… σκάτωσες“, με το συμπάθιο! Και σε ρωτάω, διότι είσαι δόλιος, και απευθύνεσαι με βαρύγδουπα πάντα πρωτοσέλιδα σε χαχόλους, για δημιουργία εντυπώσεων!
• Αυτό έκανες και σήμερα 15-10-2018!
• Και σε ρωτάω: Επειδή ο νεαρός τσολιάς, ανηψιός του Ζιάγκα, όπως έγραψες, είναι μέλος συμμορίας εμπόρων ναρκωτικών, κλπ, αυτό σημαίνει κάτι για τον Πρόεδρο Α. Γ. Παπανδρέου, ρε αισχρέ τύπε ή ακόμα και για τον Ζιάγκα; 
• Ο σχετικά προσφάτως θανών Μιχάλης ΖΙΑΓΚΑΣ, ο… βενζινάς απ’ τα Τρίκαλα, πράγματι ήταν η… πιο κοντινή και πραγματική ΑΣΦΑΛΕΙΑ του Προέδρου μας και το άτομο που ο Παπανδρέου εμπιστευόταν Α-ΠΟ-ΛΥΠ-ΤΩΣ!.. Όμως ΟΥΤΕ ΜΠΟΡΕΙΣ ΝΑ ΔΙΑΝΟΗΘΕΙΣ ΤΟ ΠΩΣ (Ερωτ/κό) ΗΤΑΝ ΔΟΜΗΜΕΝΗ Η ΑΣΦΑΛΕΙΑ ΤΟΥ ΠΡΟΕΔΡΟΥ, ρε ΣΙΧΑΜΕΡΕ ΤΥΠΕ!

Member Of Iranian Military Arrested Over Ahvaz Parade Attack

Iranian authorities have arrested a member of the country’s military in connection with last month’s deadly attack on a military parade in the city of Ahvaz, local media report.

Judiciary spokesman Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejehi was quoted as saying on October 14 that 11 other military personnel were summoned over the case.

Ejehi also said that a military court is probing the case, without providing further details.

Gunmen dressed in military uniforms opened fire during a September 22 parade in the southwestern city of Ahvaz, the capital of Khuzestan Province, marking the start of the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war.

The attack left 24 people dead, including civilians and members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), and dozens of others wounded.

Officials said all the attackers died.

Both the extremist group Islamic State (IS) and an Iranian ethnic Arab separatist umbrella group called the “Ahvaz National Resistance” have claimed responsibility for the assault.

Neither group provided conclusive evidence to back up their claim.

Late last month, the semiofficial ISNA news agency quoted the head of Iran’s parliamentary committee on national security and foreign policy, Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh, as criticizing security forces for what he described as their negligence during the attack.

Separately, Iranian Intelligence Minister Mahmud Alavi said on October 14 that his ministry had helped to uncover and destroy “300 teams” of militants, the official IRNA news agency reported.

Alavi did not give details on the identities of the militants, nor did he indicate when the cells were uncovered.

On October 1, the IRGC said it had fired missiles at militants in Syria to punish the alleged ringleaders of the attack in Ahvaz.

“A number of leaders and effective elements” behind the attack were “killed and injured” in the missile strikes in eastern Syria, it said.
